Dr. Ricardo Rao
Dr. Rao is a St. Louis native who received his medical degree at the University of Missouri, Columbia. He trained in general surgery at St. Louis University and completed a vascular surgical fellowship at Case Western Reserve in Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Rao is board-certified in both general and vascular surgery. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is the founder and president of Midwest Vascular and General Surgery, Inc. He is the medical director of the Missouri Baptist Medical Center Vascular Laboratory. Dr. Rao has practiced general and vascular surgery for 15 years. He has special interests in advanced endovascular surgery of the aorta, carotid and peripheral arteries. He holds a license in Missouri and Illinois.
Kelly Bliss, PAC
Kelly is a native of Baton Rouge Louisiana. She relocated to St. Louis in 2003. She holds credentials in both cardiac and vascular ultrasound. In 2008, she received her Masters in physician assistant studies at St. Louis University. Kelly is a member of both the American Academy of Physician Assistance and the Missouri Academy of Physician Assistance. Currently she holds a license in both Missouri and Illinois
Janet Sheban, Vascular Technologist
Janet is a native of Northeastern Ohio where she attended Ohio State University. She moved to St. Louis in 1979. She had previously worked as a registered vascular technologist for 20 years. Janet has been trained as a vein specialist and currently assists the doctors with venous laser ablation and sclerotherapy.
